Contracts Engineer

About the role

The Contracts Engineer will ensure exemplary service to customers by managing orders from receipt through delivery, coordinating with engineering, purchasing and manufacturing to meet all customer requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage customer orders from receipt to delivery, keeping customers updated on progress.
• Collaborate with engineering, purchasing, and manufacturing to prioritize and expedite engineered orders.
• Resolve quality complaints in partnership with the Quality department.
• Identify and resolve order queries, ensuring accurate interpretation of customer requirements.
• Negotiate delivery and special requirements with customers and internal teams.
• Conduct thorough contract reviews of customer orders.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3‑5 years of experience in a similar contracts management role, preferably within the valve or actuator industry.
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings and commercial terminology.
• Background in customer service and material pricing.
• Fluent English and proficiency with Microsoft AX.

Required skills

• Technical knowledge of electric and pneumatic actuators.
• Negotiation skills in a contractual environment.
• Experience with Microsoft AX and Dynamics 365 (plus).
