Contracts Engineer (PPO)

About the role

The Contracts Engineer (PPO) will support ADNOC Logistics & Services in managing end‑to‑end tender processes and contract award activities for the ADNOC Directorate’s planned procurement requirements. This role ensures that all contractual and commercial aspects are handled efficiently, safely and in line with company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review and process End User planned consultancy and insurance contract requests for the upcoming year.
• Initiate expression of interest and pre‑qualification activities with potential suppliers.
• Develop End User contract requests into formal Requests for Tenders (RFT) and obtain management approval of bidder lists.
• Act as the focal point between End Users and bidders throughout the tender lifecycle, from bid issue to clarification and submission.
• Conduct technical, commercial and unpriced evaluations, determine negotiation strategies, and prepare award recommendations.
• Prepare contract award documents, secure signatures and support kickoff meetings with appointed contractors.
• Provide guidance on evaluation criteria, contractual arrangements, claim assessments and contract variations, ensuring proper follow‑up until contract close‑out.

Required profile

• Experience in contract management, tender processes and commercial evaluation within logistics, maritime or energy sectors.
• Strong understanding of procurement procedures, pre‑qualification and bid evaluation methodologies.
• Ability to liaise effectively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
• Attention to detail and capability to prepare clear recommendation and award documentation.
