Contracts Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Contracts Manager to oversee contractual processes for construction projects in Dubai. The role involves close collaboration with operations leadership and project teams to ensure all agreements, variations and payments are managed accurately and on time.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with the DGM Operations and project managers, attending contractual meetings with clients and project teams.
• Vet agreements with clients, suppliers and subcontractors and ensure proper documentation.
• Perform item‑wise quantity take‑off after contract award and validate scope of work between pre‑ and post‑tender teams.
• Conduct IFT vs IFC comparisons, highlight variations to design, project and operations teams, and obtain necessary approvals.
• Prepare and submit interim payment applications (IPA) and variation notifications within contractual deadlines.
• Manage scope changes, receive engineering instructions, submit detailed variation submissions and update the variation register.
• Handle weekly CVI (Contract Variation Instruction) reviews, prepare commercial implications and secure approvals before work proceeds.
• Oversee subcontractor payment processes and ensure compliance with contractual terms.

Required profile

• Proven experience in contracts administration within the construction sector.
• Strong understanding of IFT/IFC drawing revisions and quantity verification.
• Ability to manage variations, scope changes and payment applications in line with contract requirements.
• Excellent coordination skills with operations, design and project teams.
