Contracts Manager

About the role

The Contracts Manager will oversee all contractual matters for assigned EPC projects from award through execution and close‑out. The role ensures contract administration aligns with agreed terms, protects contractual rights, and provides clear guidance to project teams.

Key responsibilities

• Administer main contracts, sub‑contracts and consultancy agreements, reviewing clauses and advising on obligations, risks and entitlements.
• Issue contractual notices and correspondence within required timelines and maintain organized contract records.
• Review tender documents, identify contractual risks, and support preparation of qualifications, exclusions and clarifications.
• Prepare and manage variation submissions, extension of time (EOT) claims, and related contractual notices.
• Support project managers with claim documentation, coordinate with planning and commercial teams, and track claim progress.
• Assist in subcontractor variation reviews, interim payments, final accounts and monitor payment timelines.
• Identify early contractual risks, prepare records for dispute resolution, and ensure compliance with contract provisions.
• Coordinate with project, commercial, planning, procurement and legal teams, attend meetings and produce status reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent from a recognized university.
• Minimum 5 years experience in contracts or commercial roles within EPC or construction projects.
