Coordinator Operations

About the role

The Coordinator Operations will support DSV's fleet management activities in Abu Dhabi, ensuring that vehicles are delivered, maintained and utilised efficiently. This role combines monitoring, reporting and driver liaison to keep the fleet running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor fleet activities to guarantee timely and efficient deliveries.
• Track and report on fleet performance metrics such as mileage and maintenance.
• Schedule regular vehicle inspections, servicing and maintenance.
• Address mechanical issues promptly to minimise downtime.
• Maintain records of vehicle maintenance, repairs and warranties.
• Ensure fleet compliance with local licensing, insurance and safety regulations.
• Implement and monitor safety programmes, including driver training and briefings.
• Prepare reports on fleet utilisation, costs and efficiency.
• Manage vehicle registrations, insurance and documentation renewals.
• Collaborate with vendors for fuel, maintenance and leasing needs.
• Communicate with drivers to resolve concerns and provide updates.
• Monitor fleet expenses and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Optimise routes, fuel efficiency and vehicle utilisation.
• Recommend fleet upgrades or replacements to improve operational performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor degree or diploma.
• 1‑2 years of experience in fleet operations.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Analytical mindset with good planning and time‑management abilities.
• Personal ownership, adaptability and a proactive attitude.
