Corporate Head - Finance

About the role

We are seeking a Corporate Head of Finance to lead the finance and funding strategy for a leading semi‑government organization in Abu Dhabi. This is a 12‑month contract position, renewable based on performance, reporting directly to senior leadership and overseeing a corporate finance team.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute corporate finance initiatives and KPIs aligned with organisational strategy.
• Design, review and optimise the capital structure, balancing equity, debt and internal funding.
• Analyse the funding portfolio, evaluating cost of capital, liquidity and leverage metrics.
• Negotiate and structure new debt facilities, refinancing arrangements and financing terms with banks and credit agencies.
• Collaborate with Treasury & Insurance to forecast cash flows, manage interest exposure and support liquidity management.
• Provide recommendations on dividend policy, funding mix and debt covenants to strengthen balance‑sheet resilience.
• Lead the preparation and validation of advanced financial models for capital planning, project financing and investment assessments.
• Support M&A activities with financial inputs, feasibility assessments and due‑diligence.
• Conduct performance benchmarking and comparative analysis across subsidiaries and business units.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in corporate finance, capital structure optimisation and financial risk governance.
• Proven track record in debt negotiation, financing, and leading finance teams.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to deliver board‑level reporting and executive insights.
• Experience working with banks, insurers and regulators in a senior finance role.
