Corporate QHSE Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Corporate QHSE Manager to lead the Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental function for an EPC contractor operating in the Oil & Gas and Petrochemical sectors. The role will own the Integrated Management System, ensure regulatory compliance and drive continuous improvement across all projects and corporate activities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and maintain the Integrated Management System (IMS) and QHSE procedures.
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards, HSE regulations and client requirements.
• Develop and implement QHSE policies, control procedures and processes.
• Manage internal and external QHSE audits and close‑out actions.
• Establish and monitor monthly QHSE performance programmes and KPIs.
• Oversee incident management, investigations and preventive measures.
• Manage vendor and subcontractor QHSE performance.
• Coordinate with authorities and regulatory bodies, including Civil Defence.
• Ensure effective environmental control and welfare management.
• Provide coaching and mentoring to QHSE teams and project management.
• Oversee welding quality control from a QHSE governance perspective.
• Support continuous improvement and embed a strong QHSE culture.

Required profile

• NEBOSH certification (mandatory).
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven experience as a Corporate QHSE Manager or senior QHSE role within EPC contracting.
• Strong background in Oil & Gas and Petrochemical projects.
• Solid knowledge of IMS, ISO compliance, HSE compliance and audit management.
• Experience in incident management and investigations.
• Strong leadership, governance and stakeholder management skills.
• ADNOC project experience is an advantage.
