Cost Clerk – Automotive After‑sales

About the role

The Cost Clerk supports Al Futtaim Automotive’s after‑sales workshop by reviewing, verifying and costing completed job cards. The role ensures accurate invoicing of labour, consumables, oils, paint, materials and sublet items, helping to capture workshop revenue and manage work‑in‑progress efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Review, verify and cost daily workshop job cards, ensuring correct labour hours, repair codes and allocations.
• Return incomplete or incorrect cards to the relevant team with clear correction instructions.
• Support accurate workshop invoicing and monitor outstanding or uncosted repairs, escalating when needed.
• Maintain records and follow operational processes using SAP and other relevant systems.

Required profile

• High school or technical education with a Government/National Trade Certificate in Mechanical Automotive Engineering.
• At least 2 years of experience in automotive after‑sales or workshop costing roles.
• Good command of English and strong analytical, planning and organisational abilities.

Required skills

• SAP (dealer management system) knowledge.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
