Cost Control Supervisor – Luxury Hotel

About the role

Join The Lana, part of the Dorchester Collection, as a Cost Control Supervisor responsible for inventory control, cost reporting and supporting the finance function in a luxury hotel environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the inventory control support team for chinaware, glassware, silverware, food, beverage, tobacco and consumables.
• Record, reconcile and maintain monthly purchase and issue records of operating equipment.
• Support the internal control environment governing inventory management across the hotel.
• Produce highly accurate cost and statistical reports for senior management on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
• Identify and correct procedural irregularities in the recording, storage and handling of stock items.
• Assist the Assistant Director of Finance with ad‑hoc projects and duties as required.

Required profile

• Resilient and able to operate under pressure, multitask and make sound decisions.
• Proactive improvement mindset with ability to resolve issues and generate fresh ideas.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar capacity within luxury hotels in the Middle East.

Required skills

• Strong accounting, analytical and numerical skills with high attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
