Cost Controller

About the role

We are looking for a Cost Controller to manage food and beverage costs across all outlets of our luxury hotel in Dubai. You will ensure accurate costing, support profitability, and collaborate with finance and operations teams.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and control F&B costs for all outlets, including recipe, menu, and beverage costing.
• Conduct regular inventory counts, investigate variances, and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly cost reports.
• Track purchasing prices, stock transfers, wastage, and adjustments, identifying cost‑saving opportunities.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, month‑end closing, and financial analysis.
• Ensure compliance with financial controls and hotel policies, working closely with Finance, Purchasing, Stores, Culinary, and Operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 3–5 years of F&B cost control experience in a 5‑star hotel or luxury hospitality environment.
• Strong knowledge of food & beverage costing, inventory, and purchasing controls.
• Familiarity with UAE financial regulations is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience with financial management and inventory systems such as Futurelog and Opera.
