Cost Controller – UAE National

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Cost Controller to join our Dubai team. Reporting to the Portfolio Performance Controller, you will support financial management and cost control across infrastructure projects, ensuring budgets are met and margins optimized.

Key responsibilities

• Review and control project budgets in collaboration with project managers.
• Perform regular variance analysis comparing actual costs to planned costs and implement corrective actions.
• Support earned value analysis for forecasting and reporting to stakeholders.
• Monitor project cash flow and ensure vendor payments align with contract terms.
• Analyse financial statements to identify improvement opportunities.
• Assist in preparing annual budgets and comprehensive financial reports.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities and conduct cost‑benefit analyses for prospective projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Fresh graduate or junior experience in cost control, preferably in construction/maintenance.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Good understanding of accounting principles, budgeting procedures and Earned Value Management.
• Excellent communication skills to convey financial information to stakeholders.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel for financial modelling.
