Credit Control Associate – UAE National

About the role

The Credit Control Associate supports the credit control operations for Cigna Healthcare’s Middle East and Africa portfolio. Based in Dubai, the role handles mailbox activity, cash allocation, receipt posting and Statement of Account requests, ensuring accurate financial controls and timely service to internal stakeholders and clients.

Key responsibilities

• Manage incoming communications through the centralised mailbox, providing timely and accurate responses and escalating complex cases.
• Process and deliver all Statement of Account (SOA) requests for MEA clients within agreed timelines.
• Arrange daily receipt documentation for MEA clients, ensuring compliance with credit control procedures.
• Post client receipts weekly in the policy administration system using the approved cash allocation file.
• Provide backup support by posting receipts daily during end‑of‑service coverage.
• Support the Credit Control team with routine follow‑ups, data validation and adherence to escalation protocols.
• Maintain strict confidentiality, data accuracy and compliance with internal financial governance.
• Demonstrate attention to detail, reliability and effective communication across all credit control processes.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial processing.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, especially for email‑based client interactions.
• Ability to work independently on routine tasks while meeting departmental deadlines.
• High sense of ownership, reliability and professionalism.
• Team‑oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate across Credit Control and Finance.
