CTS Specialist – Technical Support (Dubai)

About the role

Provide expert technical support to sales teams and customers, ensuring their technology and approval needs are met. You will coordinate approval testing, prepare reports, and present findings both internally and externally.

Key responsibilities

• Organise and execute approval testing plans in collaboration with sales and business units.
• Prepare written technical reports and literature for customers and sales.
• Deliver oral presentations to internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Maintain relationships with internal and external customers, staying updated on Afton’s technology and market trends.
• Resolve customer complaints efficiently and professionally.
• Manage projects using the CTS stage‑gate process and Accolade software.
• Interpret industry and customer test requirements and align them with Afton chemistry.
• Collaborate with CTS, R&D, OEM, sales, marketing and other functions to capture market needs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in the petrochemical or automotive industry, preferably with CTS functions.
• Strong understanding of industry test specifications and customer requirements.
