Customer Engineer

About the role

The Customer Engineer will ensure the reliable operation of financial and retail equipment across assigned sites in Abu Dhabi. Working directly with banks and retailers, you will install, maintain and repair ATMs, POS terminals and related hardware to meet service level agreements. The role is part of NCR Atleos’ Emiratization program and is open only to UAE nationals.

Key responsibilities

• Install, stage and test equipment including PCs, printers, POS systems, ATMs and kiosks.
• Perform minor repairs, replace components and execute modular swaps on Tier I hardware.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and diagnose hardware issues on site.
• Respond to customer incidents, resolve problems or escalate according to SLA.
• Maintain accurate parts inventory, record keeping and expense reporting.
• Follow security procedures when handling ATMs and working within financial institutions.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with local customer accounts.
• Represent NCR Atleos positively and ensure compliance with company policies.

Required profile

• UAE national (Emirati citizen) as required by Emiratization regulations.
• Technical background with experience in hardware installation and maintenance.
• Familiarity with ATMs, POS terminals, PCs, printers and related peripherals.
• Ability to work on‑site across the assigned territory and travel as needed.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and customer‑focused attitude.
• Capability to follow strict security and safety procedures.
