Customer Service Adviser

About the role

As a Customer Service Adviser you will be the first point of contact for Bupa Global members, delivering clear, friendly and professional support across a wide range of health‑insurance enquiries.

Key responsibilities

• Handle phone and written enquiries about health‑insurance policies.
• Investigate queries and provide accurate, timely responses.
• Update membership details in line with policy requirements.
• Re‑issue and track customer documents as needed.
• Process manual credit‑card payments securely and accurately.
• Manage billing enquiries, issue receipts and raise credit notes or invoices.
• Support brokers and business partners with policy‑related questions.
• Maintain up‑to‑date customer records and contact information.
• Coordinate with service partners to arrange medical treatments.
• Investigate and resolve customer complaints to fair outcomes.

Required profile

• Fluency in English and a second language (Mandarin, Hindi, Urdu, Tagalog, French, German, Russian or Spanish preferred).
• Previous experience in a medical or healthcare environment.
• Experience working in the UAE health‑insurance sector and knowledge of local regulations.
• Strong background in customer service, ideally within insurance or healthcare.
• Ability to follow processes accurately and work within guidelines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and problem‑solving ability.
• Confidence managing multiple enquiries and prioritising workload.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts between 08:00 and 20:00, including occasional weekends and public holidays.
