Customer Service Officer (On Ground)

About the role

Join the VOX Cinemas team to deliver exceptional food and beverage service and hospitality to cinema guests. You will be the first point of contact, ensuring a smooth and memorable cinema experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and assist with ticket purchases, seat selections and promotions.
• Process cash, card and digital transactions accurately using the POS system.
• Provide information on movie schedules, loyalty programmes and ongoing offers.
• Upsell tickets, combo deals and retail items to maximise revenue.
• Handle customer inquiries, feedback and complaints professionally.
• Maintain a clean, organised and presentable box office, lobby and service counters.
• Monitor guest flow to prevent queues and coordinate with operations and F&B teams.
• Record transactions, refunds and generate required reports.
• Adhere to hygiene, health, safety and data‑security policies.
• Support colleagues during peak periods, special events and promotions.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience in food & beverage or hospitality (cinema or restaurant preferred).
• Strong communication and customer‑service orientation.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced, guest‑facing environment.
• Flexible availability for evenings, weekends and public holidays.
• Compliance with hygiene, grooming and uniform standards.
