Customer Service Representative - Dubai

About the role

A Customer Service Representative position based in Dubai, UAE, is open to candidates with a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and experience in customer service or sales administration. The role centres on handling customer enquiries, pricing requests and RFQs by email and phone, preparing quotations and following up on pending and issued quotations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage inbound and local leads, incoming enquiries and requests for proposals
• Support the sales process: qualification, relationship building, needs assessment, solution development and closing opportunities
• Build rapport with customers through friendly, professional communication
• Work with Sales and Operations teams to deliver accurate, well-informed quotations
• Help resolve customer complaints with internal departments
• Maintain the CRM system and follow up on opportunities in the sales pipeline to secure purchase orders and meet revenue targets
• Develop customer accounts, manage the sales pipeline and grow the share of wallet within assigned accounts
• Generate leads, find new customers and reactivate dormant accounts
• Ensure compliance with health and safety, environmental protection and corporate governance laws

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in science or civil engineering
• At least 3 years of customer service experience, including generating quotations
• Valid UAE driver's licence
• Desirable: experience interpreting testing procedures and technical requirements
