Cyber Risk Consulting Leader – Middle East & Africa (Dubai)

About the role

We are seeking a senior Cyber Risk Consulting Leader to build and head a cybersecurity advisory practice across the Middle East and Africa, based in Dubai. The role combines deep cyber‑risk expertise with commercial acumen, business development and practice‑building responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the regional cyber risk consulting strategy.
• Build, grow and manage a profitable cybersecurity advisory practice, owning revenue, pipeline and P&L.
• Identify and cross‑sell cyber advisory services alongside insurance and broader risk solutions.
• Lead client engagements with boards, C‑suite executives and senior risk stakeholders.
• Translate complex cyber risks into clear commercial and financial implications.
• Develop proposals, scopes of work, pricing models and client presentations.
• Conduct cyber risk assessments, maturity reviews and resilience programmes.
• Advise on cyber incident preparedness, response planning and support against frameworks such as ISO 27001 and NIST CSF.
• Provide guidance on cyber insurance requirements and risk‑transfer strategies.
• Support cyber due‑diligence in mergers, acquisitions and other transactions.
• Recruit, develop and lead a regional consulting team and foster relationships with insurers, brokers and technology partners.

Required profile

• 15+ years of experience in cybersecurity, technology risk or risk consulting.
• At least five years in a senior leadership or practice‑management role.
• Proven track record of building or significantly growing a cyber risk consulting practice.
• Strong commercial experience with revenue generation, business development and P&L ownership.
• Deep understanding of cyber insurance and its impact on coverage and underwriting.
• Experience advising boards and C‑suite executives on complex cyber risks.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder‑management and negotiation skills.
