Data & AI Transformation Architect

About the role

Damen Rubber is seeking a senior Data & AI Transformation Architect to lead the evolution of its enterprise data landscape. Based in Abu Dhabi, you will act as a strategic advisor and hands‑on leader, guiding the company toward a data‑powered future across its maritime and shipbuilding operations.

Key responsibilities

• Assess current data and AI capabilities and define a future‑state architecture aligned with business goals.
• Design and implement scalable data platforms, governance frameworks, and AI adoption pathways.
• Collaborate with business leaders, data owners, stewards, engineers, and analysts to ensure practical execution and measurable value.
• Drive data‑maturity initiatives, including master data management, data quality, and enterprise data modelling.
• Provide guidance on integration of enterprise platforms such as SAP, Workday, and Salesforce.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in data, analytics, or AI transformation roles.
• Proven track record of moving organizations from fragmented data environments to mature, governed data ecosystems.
• Experience in asset‑intensive industries such as manufacturing, shipbuilding, energy, or utilities.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
