Data Analyst Intern

About the role

Join Valentino’s Finance team in Dubai as a Data Analyst Intern for a 12‑month mission, supporting the transformation of financial and retail data into actionable insights within a luxury fashion environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain dashboards and reports tracking retail KPIs (sales, sell‑through rates, average transaction value, stock management) across GCC boutiques.
• Support monthly and quarterly financial reporting by consolidating and analysing data from ERP, POS and Excel sources.
• Assist in managing databases during month‑end closing activities, including sales reconciliation, commissions, marketing expenses and fixed‑cost tracking.
• Contribute to financial planning by preparing budget and forecast scenarios.
• Automate recurring reporting processes using Power BI or equivalent tools.
• Perform ad‑hoc business analyses for accounting, logistics and retail teams to support decisions on new store openings, budget reviews and investment cases.
• Collaborate with Finance, Retail and Operations teams to improve data quality and consistency.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a Master’s program (Bac+4/5) in Finance, Data Science, Business Analytics or a related field at a recognized university or engineering school.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and results‑oriented approach.
• Proficiency in advanced Excel; knowledge of Power BI, Python or SQL is a plus.
• Genuine interest in the luxury retail industry and its commercial dynamics.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast‑paced, multicultural environment.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Italian or Arabic is an advantage.
