Data Executive

About the role

GEMS Metropole School in Motor City is looking for a Data Executive to support the school’s Management Information System. You will work closely with the Data Manager and school leaders to turn data into actionable insights that drive student success.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Data Manager in planning, designing, and monitoring the MIS.
• Act as a liaison between senior leaders, teaching staff and support teams.
• Produce academic reports analysing attainment, progress, exam results and public examination outcomes.
• Identify trends and conduct comparative analyses across schools to inform development plans.
• Prepare data for school inspections, evaluations and improvement plans.
• Coordinate with the Examination Officer on internal and external exam data.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of new technologies through professional development and industry contacts.
• Support timetable, cover, examinations, attendance, rewards and sanctions processes.

Required profile

• Minimum two years’ experience in a data‑assistant or similar role.
• Hands‑on experience with Nova‑T6 (essential).
• Experience handling pastoral and academic data in an educational setting (essential).
• Familiarity with Go4Schools is desirable.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Nova‑T6.
• Knowledge of Go4Schools.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills.
• Ability to build and maintain Microsoft Power BI dashboards.
