Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Engineer to operate and engineer client DLP controls under the guidance of a DLP Specialist. You will manage platform administration, incident triage, policy implementation, testing, health monitoring, and evidence management across Forcepoint DLP, Microsoft Purview, and related data protection technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor DLP alert queues, triage incidents across endpoint, email, network, Microsoft 365, and cloud/SaaS channels.
• Validate incident context, policy matches, data sensitivity, and business justification; escalate high‑risk cases.
• Implement approved policy changes, classifiers, thresholds, actions, exceptions, and user notifications.
• Administer Forcepoint DLP components, endpoint agents, discovery tasks, connectors, and system health checks.
• Support Microsoft Purview DLP, sensitivity label integration, and content investigations.
• Investigate failures, false positives, and performance issues; maintain allowlists and detection patterns.
• Document incidents, service requests, changes, and problem records in the ITSM platform, meeting SLA targets.
• Prepare operational reports on alert volumes, policy hits, false positives, and service health.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience in information security or data protection.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to work on‑site at client locations and provide after‑hours support when required.
