Data Science and Risk Analyst

About the role

The Data Science and Risk Analyst will support the RV methodology and governance framework across all business units, delivering AI‑driven forecasting, depreciation modelling and fleet risk analytics for the UAE market.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare RV assumptions, depreciation curves and forecast used‑vehicle price indexes using internal and external data sources.
• Develop, calibrate and maintain predictive, prescriptive and generative AI models for RV forecasting, portfolio risk analytics and predictive maintenance.
• Build and maintain automated dashboards for RV tracking, depreciation analysis and fleet health reporting with Power BI or Tableau.
• Monitor fleet exposure against risk thresholds, generate alerts and conduct AI‑based anomaly detection.
• Conduct scenario and stress‑testing analyses for economic factors such as interest rates, inflation and currency movements.
• Track UAE used‑car market trends, auction performance and competitor activity through API‑based data feeds and AI‑driven market intelligence.

Required profile

• Strong analytical background with experience in predictive modelling and risk analytics.
• Familiarity with RV methodology, fleet operations and depreciation modelling.
• Ability to work with large datasets and support data‑pipeline and MLOps processes.

Required skills

• Machine‑learning techniques: regression, gradient boosting, time‑series, clustering.
• Generative AI and LLM tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, Claude).
• Model explainability tools (SHAP, Bayesian inference, counterfactual analysis).
• Data‑pipeline development, feature engineering, data validation and model back‑testing.
• BI tools: Power BI, Tableau.
• AI‑based anomaly detection and automated alerting.
