Data Science Manager – Automotive & Financial Services

About the role

The Data Science Manager will lead advanced analytics initiatives for Al Futtaim Finance, focusing on automotive and financial services rental & leasing. You will translate complex data into actionable insights that improve financial performance, risk management, and pricing strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deploy predictive models for residual value, credit scoring, delinquency, collections optimization, and pricing.
• Deliver at least two successful use‑cases demonstrating model impact.
• Create and maintain financial KPI dashboards and risk monitoring tools using data visualization libraries.
• Generate financial insights through time‑series decomposition, anomaly detection, and stress testing.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to communicate findings and support data‑driven decision making.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in data science or analytics, preferably in financial services.
• Strong quantitative background with expertise in statistical and machine‑learning methods.
• Proven ability to lead projects and mentor junior analysts.
• Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
