Delivery Operations Manager

About the role

The Delivery Operations Manager will lead the daily operation and management of JD Logistics' transportation and distribution network across the Middle East. This role ensures seamless coordination of sea, air, land, and last‑mile delivery while maintaining high service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the end‑to‑end transportation and distribution network, including sea, air, land, and last‑mile delivery.
• Coordinate international trunk transportation resources and liaise with carriers and local service providers.
• Monitor the full operational chain from origin through customs clearance, transshipment, and final delivery.
• Track and improve KPIs such as on‑time delivery rate, successful delivery rate, transportation costs, anomaly rate, and customer satisfaction.
• Develop and optimise processes to boost cross‑border logistics efficiency and reduce operating costs.
• Manage transportation and distribution anomalies, coordinating with warehousing, customs, and customer service teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing transportation and distribution networks, preferably in a cross‑border context.
• Strong understanding of sea, air, land, and last‑mile logistics operations.
• Ability to monitor and act on key performance indicators.
• Experience coordinating with carriers, customs authorities, and internal stakeholders.
