Demi Chef De Partie – Bakery

About the role

The Ritz‑Carlton Abu Dhabi Grand Canal is seeking a motivated Demi Chef De Partie to join its bakery team. You will work in a fast‑paced, high‑standards environment, preparing a variety of baked goods and supporting the culinary team in delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare special meals, substitute items, and cold foods according to recipes and presentation standards.
• Regulate temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters; pull items from freezer storage and thaw safely.
• Ensure proper portioning, arrangement, garnish, and maintain accurate food logs.
• Monitor quality and quantity of prepared food, inform chefs of excess items for daily specials, and communicate menu specials or out‑of‑stock items to service staff.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, and employee coaching as needed.
• Follow all safety, security, and hygiene policies; report maintenance needs and unsafe conditions.
• Maintain a clean, professional appearance and uphold confidentiality of proprietary information.
• Perform physical duties such as standing for long periods, lifting up to 25 lb, and reaching overhead.

Required profile

• Technical, trade or vocational school degree related to culinary arts.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant bakery or culinary experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No specific license or certification mentioned.
