Demi Chef de Partie – Employee Canteen

About the role

The InterContinental Ras Al Khaimah Mina Al Arab Resort & Spa is seeking a Demi Chef de Partie to join its Employee Restaurant team. You will help deliver fresh, tasty meals to colleagues in a high‑volume, hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and daily production plans.
• Support the Sous Chef and Junior Sous Chef in the smooth operation of the kitchen.
• Ensure mise en place is ready for each service.
• Check quality, storage and handling of ingredients.
• Maintain consistent food quality, portioning and presentation.
• Follow stock rotation procedures and help reduce food waste.
• Uphold high standards of food safety, hygiene and cleanliness.
• Keep workstation, equipment and assigned section clean and organised.
• Assist other kitchen sections as needed and guide junior culinary colleagues.

Required profile

• Diploma or vocational qualification in Culinary Arts or equivalent kitchen experience.
• Previous experience in a professional kitchen environment.
• Experience working in a high‑volume kitchen or staff cafeteria.

Required skills

• Food preparation and cooking according to recipes.
• Mise en place planning and execution.
• Stock rotation and waste reduction techniques.
