Demi Chef de Partie – Luxury Hotel Kitchen

About the role

Join the culinary team at Fairmont Bab Al Bahr, a five‑star beachfront luxury hotel in Abu Dhabi. As a Demi Chef de Partie you will support the Chef de Partie in delivering high‑quality dishes that meet the hotel’s exacting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Chef de Partie in operating the assigned kitchen section and meet daily production requirements.
• Prepare, cook, and present food items following Fairmont recipes and quality specifications.
• Ensure proper mise en place before each service and maintain consistency in taste, texture, portioning, and presentation.
• Supervise and guide Commis Chefs and junior colleagues when required.
• Maintain food safety, HACCP, and hygiene standards across all preparation areas.
• Handle storage, labeling, and rotation of ingredients to preserve freshness and reduce waste.
• Assist with receiving, checking, and storing kitchen supplies and deliveries.
• Collaborate with other kitchen sections to ensure smooth service coordination.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Demi Chef de Partie or similar role in a luxury hotel or high‑end restaurant.
• Culinary diploma or professional culinary training preferred.
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant kitchen experience.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen operations, and food safety standards.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining quality and attention to detail.
