Deployment Architect – Presales

About the role

We are looking for a technically credible Deployment/Presales Architect to design and deliver secure, sovereign technology platforms for customers in cybersecurity, defence and national‑security environments. You will act as the technical authority from discovery through proof of value to deployment readiness, translating complex requirements into practical, secure designs.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery workshops with customer infrastructure, security and operational teams.
• Translate customer requirements into solution architecture, deployment plans and technical proposals.
• Own infrastructure sizing, hardware specifications, storage, network design and implementation approach for proposals.
• Run customer proof‑of‑concepts and proofs of value, providing technical guidance throughout the sales cycle.
• Bridge customers, sales, product engineering and delivery teams.
• Produce low‑level designs, bills of materials, network plans, runbooks, readiness checklists, RACI matrices and risk registers.
• Support delivery teams with deployment planning, commissioning, acceptance criteria and technical escalation.
• Create reusable reference architectures, standards and deployment playbooks.

Required profile

• Strong experience in technical presales, solution or deployment architecture within a technology vendor, systems integrator or consulting environment.
• Hands‑on background delivering enterprise infrastructure to on‑premises, private‑cloud or air‑gapped environments.
• Ability to work with security‑sensitive customers in cyber, defence or national‑security sectors.
