Design And Research Operations Lead

About the role

The Design & Research Operations Lead will drive the efficiency, visibility and scalability of ADIB’s Design & Experience function. Working closely with the Head of Design & Experience and cross‑functional teams, you will ensure that design and research work is planned, tracked and delivered smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Own capacity planning and work distribution for the design team, aligning workload with business priorities.
• Manage Jira workflows, sprint planning, intake processes, status tracking and reporting.
• Produce dashboards on capacity, utilization and delivery for leadership.
• Administer design and research tools (Jira, Figma, Confluence, Microsoft 365) including licensing, renewals and payments.
• Support budget tracking, vendor management and procurement for tools and research partners.
• Lead research operations: participant recruitment, scheduling, logistics, consent and repository management.
• Coordinate onboarding/offboarding of designers, contractors, interns and coordinators.
• Maintain operational documentation, templates and governance standards in Confluence.
• Oversee asset and design‑system governance to keep shared files and libraries organized.
• Identify and implement process improvements to boost team efficiency.

Required profile

• Proven experience in design or research operations within a large organization.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to create clear, data‑driven reports.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Detail‑oriented and capable of handling multiple concurrent initiatives.
