Design Engineer - Scaffolding

About the role

Binghatti is seeking a Design Engineer specialized in scaffolding to develop safe and efficient scaffolding systems for its construction projects. The role involves creating calculations, drawings, and technical submittals while ensuring compliance with local regulations and project specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare scaffolding design calculations, detailed drawings, and technical submittals.
• Develop scaffolding layouts and structural designs aligned with project requirements and standards.
• Review project specifications and coordinate with site engineers and clients to determine optimal scaffolding solutions.
• Conduct structural safety assessments and support installation, modification, and dismantling activities.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and company procedures; approve design revisions as needed.
• Participate in site visits and inspections to validate design implementation and maintain accurate design records.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in scaffolding design.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SAP2000 and STAAD Pro.
• Knowledge of scaffolding standards (BS EN, TG20, NASC guidelines).
• Ability to conduct structural analysis and safety assessments for scaffolding systems.
