Design Manager – Developer

About the role

The Design Manager – Developer will lead design consultants and coordinate closely with site teams to ensure that all design deliverables align with the construction programme. This senior position focuses on cost control, quality assurance, and safety while delivering as‑built documentation for building projects.

Key responsibilities

• Manage design consultants on design, drawings and deliverables to ensure adherence to the construction programme.
• Coordinate with the site team on design changes and respond promptly to keep the programme on track.
• Control design competency and efficiency to manage costs and improve profit margins.
• Liaise with the site team and draftsperson to produce accurate As‑Built drawings.
• Lead the Temp Works team on construction methodology, emphasizing safety and quality on site.
• Oversee consultants on quality‑assurance procedures to ensure designs meet relevant codes and good engineering practice.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 + years of experience.
• Proven experience working on building projects.
• BE / B Tech (Civil) degree.
• Excellent market knowledge.
