About the role

GEMS Wellington Academy in Al Khail, Dubai is seeking an enthusiastic Design Technology and Art Teacher to join its vibrant faculty. You will inspire students through creative, hands‑on lessons that blend technology and artistic expression.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess Design Technology and Art curriculum for secondary students.
• Develop engaging, project‑based learning experiences that integrate IT tools.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide feedback to parents.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to school development.
• Participate in extracurricular activities and school events.

Required profile

• B.Ed or subject‑related degree with PGCE/PGDE or equivalent qualification.
• Proven ability to teach both Design Technology and Art.
• Creative, enthusiastic approach inside and outside the classroom.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
