Development Director - Luxury Hospitality

About the role

The client is a leading real estate development company in Dubai seeking a Development Director to lead the end‑to‑end delivery of a portfolio of luxury hotel projects. The role oversees the full development lifecycle, from concept and feasibility through design, procurement, construction, completion and handover.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the complete development lifecycle for multiple luxury hotel and hospitality projects.
• Define and implement development strategies, programmes and delivery plans aligned with corporate objectives.
• Direct multidisciplinary teams of architects, interior designers, engineers, project managers and specialist advisors.
• Oversee design development to ensure alignment with brand standards, operational functionality and commercial goals.
• Conduct feasibility assessments, financial modelling and budget monitoring throughout each project.
• Identify and mitigate development risks while optimising value and maintaining luxury standards.
• Serve as senior point of contact for hotel operators, international luxury brands, investors and other key stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in real estate or hospitality development.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of delivering high‑value luxury projects.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously and resolve critical issues proactively.
