Digital Systems & Web Development Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Digital Systems & Web Development Specialist to manage and continuously improve our centre's digital ecosystem, including the website and business software. The role blends IT support, WordPress development, and digital innovation to enhance operational efficiency and user experience.

Key responsibilities

• Lead development and enhancement of the WordPress website, creating new pages, layouts and modern UI/UX elements such as animations and custom cursor effects.
• Optimise website speed, accessibility, mobile responsiveness and conversion rates, and manage SEO, Google Search Console and Google Business Profile.
• Administer and optimise Zoho One suite (CRM, Books, People, Forms, Campaigns, Mail, WorkDrive), providing first‑line IT support for hardware, software and user accounts.
• Maintain backups, security updates and overall digital infrastructure, and coordinate with external providers when specialist assistance is required.
• Utilise AI tools to automate coding, workflow automation and improve website performance, and research emerging technologies to enhance efficiency and customer experience.

• Hands‑on experience in managing and improving digital platforms in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills to support staff and collaborate with external partners.

Required skills

• WordPress development and maintenance.
• HTML, CSS, JavaScript and responsive web design.
• Creation of modern website animations and interactive UI/UX components.
• Technical SEO, website performance optimisation and Google Search Console.

• Use of AI tools for coding, automation and digital workflow enhancement.
