Director - AI Security

About the role

The Director of AI Security will lead CPX Piceance’s regional AI security practice, shaping strategy, service delivery and commercial performance across the United Arab Emirates. You will be responsible for scaling an established offering into a market‑leading, profitable service that helps government and enterprise clients navigate AI governance, regulatory compliance and cyber‑risk.

Key responsibilities

• Own the multi‑disciplinary AI security practice, covering AI governance, responsible AI, and technical security measures.
• Develop and execute a multi‑year growth strategy aligned with CPX advisory, implementation and operation priorities.
• Manage the practice P&L, including revenue, margins, pricing, utilization and cost control.
• Collaborate with cyber‑defense units and commercial teams to deliver integrated AI security propositions.
• Ensure compliance with UAE PDPL, DIFC, ADGM, UAE Cybersecurity Council, NESA/SIA standards, UAE AI Strategy, GCC frameworks and global regulations such as GDPR and the EU AI Act.
• Define, evolve and commercialise the AI security portfolio, creating pricing models and automation for scalable delivery.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience (minimum 12 years) in AI security, governance or related cyber‑risk domains.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of managing practice P&L and driving revenue growth.
• Deep understanding of regional and international AI regulatory frameworks.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders in government and enterprise sectors.
