Director, FX & Derivatives

About the role

Responsible for originating Treasury and Global Markets solutions for corporate clients, focusing on balance sheet, risk management and transactional needs. The role is client‑facing, revenue‑driven and includes leading the FX & Derivatives team.

Key responsibilities

• Originate treasury and markets‑related business from corporate clients.
• Drive revenues across FX, rates, deposits and approved structured solutions.
• Identify client balance‑sheet, liquidity and risk‑management requirements.
• Coordinate with structuring, trading and product teams to deliver solutions.
• Maintain senior‑level relationships with corporate clients and coverage teams.
• Ensure compliance with suitability, credit and risk frameworks.
• Lead and manage the FX & Derivatives team, mentoring and developing members.
• Develop and execute strategies to grow market share and revenue in corporate treasury and markets products.
• Monitor market data, identify risks and opportunities, and stay updated on regulatory changes.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in corporate banking sales or treasury origination with a proven track record of revenue generation.
• Deep understanding of corporate treasury and markets products, including FX, derivatives and other financial instruments.
• Strong commercial judgment, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• In‑depth knowledge of the UAE corporate landscape and industry trends.
• Relevant finance, economics or related qualifications; fluency in English (Arabic a plus).
