Director Legacy Planning

About the role

The Director Legacy Planning will lead the coordination of client insurance referrals across Private Banking, Wealth Management and insurance partners. This senior position ensures seamless referral processes, regulatory compliance and high‑quality client service within Standard Chartered's Dubai operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily coordination of client insurance referrals between Private Banking Relationship Managers, Wealth Partners, Insurance Specialists and external brokers.
• Track referral status, maintain accurate documentation and produce operational reports.
• Identify workflow bottlenecks, resolve issues with internal teams and drive process improvements.
• Organise training sessions for Relationship Managers and Client Service Managers on referral governance.
• Support client seminars by liaising with brokers and internal stakeholders.
• Handle queries, gather feedback and continuously enhance client engagement strategies.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies and risk frameworks.
• Assist with complaint resolution, risk monitoring and escalation of compliance gaps.
• Prepare presentations and updates for senior management on referral activities.

Required profile

• Extensive knowledge of financial markets and high‑net‑worth insurance products.
• Proven people‑management and coaching experience.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities.
• Deep understanding of business guidelines, compliance and risk management.
