Director M&A Advisory and Equity Capital Markets

About the role

The Director will lead the origination and execution of M&A advisory and Equity Capital Markets transactions, primarily focused on Egypt, to meet the bank's P&L targets. This senior position works closely with client service and product teams to deliver high‑quality advisory services.

Key responsibilities

• Support origination and execution of M&A advisory and ECM deals, including IPOs, rights issues, block trades and follow‑on offerings.
• Manage assigned transaction execution tasks under the guidance of senior leaders.
• Conduct financial, legal, risk, compliance and due‑diligence reviews.
• Prepare pitch books, marketing presentations, information memoranda, investor profiles and transaction documentation.
• Build and maintain financial models for transaction analysis and execution.
• Monitor market developments and macro‑economic trends to inform client discussions.
• Collaborate with IB&M, client coverage and product teams to maximise revenue opportunities.
• Apply international best practices, corporate finance standards and internal policies.
• Support continuous improvement, professional development and adherence to FAB requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, commerce or a related discipline.
• 5–10 years of experience in corporate finance, M&A advisory or equity capital markets.
• Recent exposure to transaction origination and execution.
• Experience or training at a recognised investment bank in major financial centres is a plus.
• Knowledge of fund administration services is beneficial.
