The Director of Aviation Risk Management and Accident Investigation leads the department responsible for overseeing aviation safety, risk mitigation, and accident investigations. This senior position provides strategic governance, ensures regulatory compliance, and drives business continuity across the aviation authority.

Key responsibilities

• Set strategic direction and governance for the Risk Management and Accident Investigation Department, aligning with authority objectives and international aviation standards.
• Oversee the conduct, quality assurance, and independence of aviation accident and incident investigations.
• Develop and maintain integrated aviation risk management frameworks, methodologies, and assessment processes.
• Provide enterprise‑level risk analysis, scenario assessment, and timely reporting to executive management.
• Establish, test, and continuously improve aviation‑related business continuity, emergency preparedness, and crisis management plans.
• Lead the development, review, and implementation of policies, manuals, and regulatory instruments related to risk management and investigation.
• Validate and communicate investigation findings and safety recommendations, monitoring their implementation for continuous improvement.
