About the role

The Director of Groups & Events leads all aspects of group and event management for St. Regis Abu Dhabi, ensuring seamless execution from sales hand‑over to post‑event follow‑up. This senior position drives revenue, guest satisfaction, and operational excellence across catering, banquets, and event technology.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee planning, coordination, and delivery of all group, catering, and event business.
• Manage rooming lists, inventory, contractual compliance, and client communications.
• Drive revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives, upselling, and brand‑aligned service standards.
• Lead the local social catering business, from sales to operational turnover.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and day‑to‑day supervision to the Catering Sales and Events teams.
• Ensure alignment with brand standards and financial objectives.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in sales, marketing, event management or a related professional area.
• Proven track record in managing large‑scale events, catering operations, and revenue optimization.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with a focus on guest experience.
