Director of Operations – Luxury Beachfront Resort

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Director of Operations to lead day‑to‑day activities at our 5‑star beachfront resort in Ras Al Khaimah. Reporting to the General Manager, you will shape the guest experience, drive operational excellence, and ensure seamless collaboration across all departments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support daily operations across Rooms, Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, Engineering, Recreation and Guest Experience.
• Maintain consistent, high‑quality guest experiences at every touchpoint.
• Partner with Heads of Department to uphold strong operational standards and resolve challenges swiftly.
• Champion safety, hygiene and operational readiness throughout the property.
• Coach and develop operational leaders, fostering a culture of accountability and teamwork.
• Contribute to commercial performance through productivity, cost awareness and revenue‑generation opportunities.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives across the resort.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Director of Operations, Executive Assistant Manager – Operations, Hotel Manager/Resident Manager, or senior Rooms/F&B leader.
• Background in upscale or luxury hotel/resort environments, preferably with 300+ rooms.
• Strong exposure to high‑volume resort operations, including multiple F&B outlets, events and banqueting.
• Experience in beach, pool, recreation or wellness operations is an advantage.
• UAE/GCC experience strongly preferred.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of both Rooms and Food & Beverage operations.
• Ability to manage complex, multi‑departmental environments.
• Excellent judgement for guest recovery and operational problem‑solving.
