Director Relationship Manager – Private Banking

About the role

The Director Relationship Manager for Private Banking will lead the growth of the bank's private client portfolio in Dubai. You will be responsible for deepening existing relationships, acquiring new high‑net‑worth clients, and delivering tailored banking solutions that meet their investment objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Drive profitable growth by engaging existing and new private banking clients and cross‑selling Standard Chartered products.
• Manage a portfolio of high‑value clients, acting as the primary banker and ensuring risk‑adjusted returns.
• Collaborate with product specialists and internal resources to design and deliver customized solutions.
• Maintain strict compliance with AML, risk, and regulatory frameworks, and resolve client queries efficiently.
• Monitor performance against balanced‑scorecard targets, including AUM growth, revenue per client, and client satisfaction.

Required profile

• Relevant university degree and any required professional licences or certifications.
• Proven experience in private banking, relationship management, and risk management at a senior level.
• Strong knowledge of financial markets, investment products, and private banking processes.
• Fluency in business English and excellent communication and presentation skills.
