Director – Sovereign Wealth Funds & Financial Sponsors (UAE)

About the role

The Director will support First Abu Dhabi Bank in expanding its relationships with sovereign wealth funds and financial sponsors across the UAE. The role combines market analysis, client pitching and product development to meet the financial needs of institutional investors.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market and industry analysis to identify new business opportunities.
• Assist in the origination of mandates and preparation of client presentations.
• Support Managing Directors and Executive Directors in developing and pitching product offerings.
• Maintain and deepen relationships with clients at junior to mid‑senior levels.
• Supervise day‑to‑day deal flow and ensure revenue targets and credit quality are met.
• Lead and mentor junior team members, ensuring high service quality and client satisfaction.

Required profile

• Proven experience in relationship management with sovereign wealth funds or financial sponsors.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate market insights into actionable strategies.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Capability to work closely with senior executives and drive business development initiatives.
• Leadership experience in managing junior staff and overseeing deal processes.
