Document Controller

About the role

AECOM is seeking a Document Controller to manage the flow of project documentation for its Abu Dhabi operations. The role ensures that all project documents are accurately distributed, tracked, and archived in line with client, project and supplier requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain an established data distribution system and schedule for the assigned project.
• Revise the system or schedule as needed to guarantee timely approvals and distribution.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external parties to ensure document edits are made, proofed and signed‑off.
• Track and keep records of all documents, following standardized procedures while exercising discretion when required.
• Prepare and maintain a document control system for all forms of documentation, including drawing copies for production.
• Distribute finalized documents to the appropriate personnel and implement company quality‑assurance procedures.

Required profile

• Experience in document control or a similar administrative function within construction or infrastructure projects.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standardized processes.
• Good organizational skills to manage multiple document streams simultaneously.
