Document Controller

About the role

We are looking for a highly organized Document Controller / Project Coordinator to support the Marine Division in Abu Dhabi. The role involves managing all project documentation, coordinating activities, and ensuring smooth execution of marine construction and maintenance projects.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, control, and maintain all project documents, drawings, correspondence and records.
• Ensure proper filing, tracking, distribution and archiving in line with company procedures.
• Maintain document control registers, monitor revisions and approvals.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers on documentation matters.
• Prepare and submit project reports, meeting minutes, progress updates and presentations.
• Track deliverables, action items and deadlines to ensure timely completion.
• Support project mobilization, resource coordination and day‑to‑day administration.
• Assist in preparing technical and commercial submissions, permits and correspondence.
• Monitor incoming and outgoing documents for compliance and maintain project databases.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business Administration, Engineering, Project Management or related field.
• Minimum 5 years experience in document control and project coordination, preferably in marine, infrastructure, construction or EPC projects.
• Strong knowledge of document control procedures and project administration practices.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience using document management systems.
