Document Controller

About the role

Wood is seeking a Document Controller for the ADNOC Offshore US Gas Cap Phase 1 project in Abu Dhabi. The role ensures all project documentation is managed, controlled and compliant with company and client standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the project document control system in line with procedures and client requirements.
• Register, distribute, track and retrieve documents.
• Liaise with project teams, contractors and clients to ensure timely submission and receipt of documentation.
• Prepare transmittals, maintain logs and generate reports on documentation status.
• Ensure document traceability and secure storage of confidential records.
• Train and support junior document controllers.
• Coordinate audits and ensure compliance with QA/QC and project requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in electronic documentation management systems within oil & gas or petrochemical projects.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work with contractors, clients and support audit processes.
