Document Controller (UAE National) – Abu Dhabi

About the role

Parsons is seeking a Document Controller who is an UAE national to join its Abu Dhabi site team. You will manage the flow of project documents, ensuring they are properly recorded, distributed and archived in line with established procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Process one or more document types through all procedural steps, adhering to project‑specific numbering and approval requirements.
• Receive, track, and monitor documents using standard document management software; maintain databases, logs, transmittals and reports.
• Enter data, generate reports and scan documents for electronic storage.
• Maintain the data distribution schedule for the project based on client, department and supplier needs.
• Expedite review, signature approval and release of supplier and internally produced documents.
• Provide light clerical support such as typing, filing and answering phones.
• Assist junior document control staff and contribute to a deadline‑driven team environment.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
• Experience with electronic document management systems, preferably Aconex.
• Strong written and oral communication, organizational and interpersonal abilities.
