Dog Handler

About the role

We are seeking a passionate Dog Care Handler to supervise a dedicated, crate‑free room of dogs at our pet nursery in Dubai. You will work directly with the animals, ensuring their safety, wellbeing, and happiness throughout each shift.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise a group of dogs playing and resting together in a crate‑free environment.
• Continuously read dog body language and intervene to keep interactions friendly and safe.
• Maintain a spotless room by cleaning messes, sanitising surfaces, and washing bowls and toys.
• Feed dogs according to their dietary schedules, provide fresh water and administer basic medication when required.
• Provide mental stimulation through safe play, basic commands and structured rest periods.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience in a professional dog daycare, boarding facility or pet shelter.
• UAE residence visa holder (own, spouse or parent sponsorship preferred).
• High energy, extreme patience and physical stamina to stay on your feet for the whole shift.
• Genuine love for dogs and a strong commitment to their safety and comfort.
