Domain Owner – Product Engineering

About the role

Rapyd is building a global fintech platform and needs a senior engineer who can blend product thinking with hands‑on development. As a Domain Owner for Product Engineering you will define problems, write specifications, build solutions and own the outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Identify high‑impact problems using data, partner feedback and business analysis.
• Translate business requirements into clear, testable specifications before any code is written.
• Develop the solution yourself – coding, building tooling, automation or orchestrating AI workflows.
• Maintain the quality bar and be accountable for everything shipped to production under your name.
• Monitor, measure and iterate post‑launch, feeding learnings back into the next spec cycle.
• Manage relationships with domain stakeholders and drive commercial results.

Required profile

• 4+ years of hands‑on experience with TypeScript, Node.js, React, SQL, Redux and Jest.
• 2+ years working with AI tools and large‑language‑model orchestration.
• Proven track record of shipping products or features end‑to‑end.
• Ability to write clear, actionable specs and build the solution yourself.
• Commercial‑first mindset, using data to challenge assumptions and track success.
• Strong stakeholder‑management skills and excellent spoken and written English.
